Damn this is do annoying. West media outlets acting like the anglosphere is such a beacon of civilization, democracy and human rights, while the countries they bomb are such backwards and villanous entities that are simply evil. It's insulting.

I think I might respect a cynical money-getter more than a true believer. The writer doing this for a paycheck has a motivation I can actually understand; the true believers are freaks, completely alien in ways that I find disturbing and inhuman.

I suspect a lot of these people are true believers. Liberalism is a vehicle for the whole white savior mythology. Liberals really do think they have the most enlightened system, and it is their duty to remodel other savage races in their own image. So, anybody who resists them is by definition evil. Liberals are the modern day missionaries and crusaders rebranded.
