I don't think westerners would want to live in a country like China. If that's the case, why don't people just immigrate there?
Because uprooting your life and moving to a different country is really hard to do as anybody with even a minimally functioning brain would understand?
"if your country is so bad why don't you move" sorta vibes
but to answer your question, westerners have no idea what china actually is.
We completely agree on that. Westerners cannot conceptualize what China is really like.
