From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Never heard of Omarchy until people started criticizing it. Are you sure you're not just giving them free advertising?
Ignoring fascists and hoping they go away is one reason why fascism is having a resurgence right now. Immoral behavior should be challenged as widely and publicly as necessary to make everyone aware that it's inappropriate. People don't stop doing immoral things unless there are social consequences for it.
EXACTLY. This is what I'm responding (in other words) to "free advertisement" argument as well.
Thing is, they launched with a lot of hype and investor money. The criticism is an entirely valid reaction to counter DHH's narrative around the (lazy spin off an existing) OS.
No, this is critique and enlightenment. It's important to talk about issues people have.
I get the feeling that most of the fediverse is left-leaning, so I don't think it'll be an issue.
