From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

ENLIGHTENED CENTRISM©®™ strikes again. BOTH sides are evil Mmmkay!? Mmmmkay! Ignorance Is Bliss©®™
No idea why you're negative on the votes, the centrism reeks of deceit.
At this point, Every time I hear someone say something about Reddit it's in the same breath as something hate-crime-y or something smallminded like complaining of politics in their hobby.
Like, "Bitch, please... Reddit is just a room of people, our communities are what we make of them, if you're complaining about the room then you're either in the wrong room or you're actively trying to make discourse worse."
I'm in here for a chance at descentalized community, and for salon, but I keep bumping into these side-shaved specimen masquerading as techies, trying to make space for the loudest white supremacists in any scene. It's fucking exhausting.
