Not only that.
Some go as far as demanding 100% AI-free Fediverse server instances. OS kernel, userland, Web server, database server, Fediverse server application etc. etc., the whole stack 100% devoid of any code that went through an AI at some point. And they accept no compromises. Well, other than sticking on their Mastodon servers on which probably the whole stack is partially written by AI.
I'm actually waiting for someone to hard-fork Mastodon 3, not only in order to get rid of "AI slop" code, but also to make "the Fediverse" feel as purist as during the big hype of October/November, 2022 again.
