The solution is on your end, don't put in slices that are too thick.

There's more than one way to toast a slice.

There are toasters with wider slots:

The comments on the antique one sided toaster are silly. yeah dude let's RETVRN to a time when toasters were slower and more likely to burn your house down lmao. It's a cool specimen, and lots of older stuff is genuinely designed better than newer stuff, but not this one.
