Medical ethics can take a shit for all I care.
Ethics break down when a person's life is on the line! And what do they have to lose? Either the treatment works or the person dies from cancer. It's a special case and should be treated as such.
Give them a chance to live, a chance they would otherwise not have.
Quality of life, it's more complicated than just live or die, regardless of whether you think the patients should be able to choose for themselves or not.
Quality of life? For the two months a person has to live?
They have a deadline with cancer... You know that right?
I don't know if you ever had to watch someone die from cancer but there is no quality of life. It takes absolutely everything and in the end you have nothing. Not even your dignity.
