I know some of you forget, but here is a reminder that not everyone lives in the US. Outside of the US it is rather the norm to be opposed if you are not literally a western imperialist.

that's what i meant. the broad right wing (socially conservative, neoliberal economics, law and order) of the western world whether full throated nazis or not, skews to america so saying "you don't have to be a leftist" presupposes you're outside of the west or that "leftist" doesn't include social democrat liberals that tend to limit their opposition to the present leadership of the us
