Probably because of Anubis protection. When the whole "AI scrapes the internet over and over so servers get flooded to death" (effectively an unintended DDoS attack) thing got wild, several websites incl image hosts enabled Anubis, which somewhat works in a browser, but often not so great in apps. Possibly it's the apps fault for [not] setting the correct headers or whatever.
Interesting, thank you. I have some research to do. Any idea if you can mitigate this on the client side?
Unless you plan on joining the app's development effort: no I don't think you can.
