Well, still no flying cars.
I will maintain that we have flying cars, and we have had them for some time. They're called helicopters.
Also, Autogyros.
We can barely handle non flying cars. Can you imagine the amount of mini 9/11s drunk ~~drivers~~ flyers will cause?
The chance of collision in 3d space is so much lower than 2d.
It's a lot harder to paint lanes in the sky
That's what the chemtrails are for.
Superconducting levitation is probably the closest we can get safely. Or maybe once we got reliable assist systems.
