They are ads, I have been having this argument for ages. If my iphone sent me a notifcation about a new macbook that is advertising.
Spotify does similar shit, no ads premium but the launch page is a banner for a sponsored brainrot podcast
I get you, it can be helpful but it should be a tab for upcoming or something. Tbh Netflix has become awful for finding anything, its all the same rows of content under every heading.
No I agree they’re ads. And like I said, it sucks. I’m very much not defending the practice. I can’t stand that this is the world we live in.
All I’m saying is that it’s not like you’ll start seeing, like, insurance commercials or something.
