Rather would get spied on by domestic corps than foreign ones.
Why? The domestic corps actually have access to you to use that information. What's china gonna do with my data that is gonna affect me 12k miles away?
Coorporate with other entitities and then sell a full picture on me to the local authorities?

Sure, but i guess it literally doesn't affect me if china or intergalactic aliens are spying on me. What affects me is the local govt spying on me.
Interesting viewpoint I have not yet considered.
