Sadly some restaurants use Facebook for their menu or specials...
Those are the restaurants I walk back out of.
That's a shame. Businesses gotta market themselves and sadly social media is often used.
Theres a bbq spot near me with the best ribs/brisket in the area. Standard web menu with ecommerce. With weekly specials on Facebook. I'd never have ordered a brisket bomb sandwich without the FB image.
If I had to describe that meal in a word. Mouthgasm
Hate the platform. Not the restaurant.
this is not a shame, this is a rational decision.
I used fetchrss.com to create an RSS feed for my favorite TTRPG store that uses Facebook as their website. I haven't had a Facebook account in like 15 years, but I can still see when they post something now.
