That is absolutely crazy to me. Unless it's a special occasion or I'm planning to cook a specific meal that requires shopping or prep, I don't even think about it until I start to get hungry. How would I know what I'll be hungry for?
I mean, for me it’s because I thought about it already. People are like “what do you want to eat for lunch” and I’ll be like “well I’ve been thinking about thai noodles all morning.” I’m basically always hungry and thinking about/looking forward to my next meal.
My friend’s grandma said “life is really hard. But, sometimes you get something really good to eat.” and I live by those words.
