I want my day mildly ruined, not completely ruined. Please remember to refrain from reposting old content. If you post a post from reddit it is good practice to include a link and credit the OP. I'm not about stealing content!
It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

I mean... 1 or 2 new accounts to block every month or so is hardly onerous. It's not like there's a new one every day. I don't get the vocal hate.
Right, but the new-person-experience will royally suck because they don't come pre-blocked. I actively try not to block accounts, to keep the view as default as possible.
Doesn't that assume that the new person will hate said content? I'm not taking that as a given myself, personally.
Fair point, but if there's no engagement on those posts, it's just a repost site like all the others, not a community.
Every single post listed in the screenshot shows engagement. Furthermore, communities like /funny are always going to be populated with stuff that has been reposted all across the internet because its such a generic topic that requires the content to actually be somewhat funny. Unless you have some resident comedians lurking here, you aren't going to find much original funny content.
