EarthBound (SNES) for me, I just never get tired of it. Its probably at least passively running in the background like 5-7 times/week

Tho often with a low pass filter to make it more in the background and less granular. Its sort of the audio equivalent of thinking grenades for me

Bear with me, cause it’s attached to a game that’s not very good, but Unlimited Saga.

This is Masashi Hamauzu at his best. In particular, the highlights are “Time-Space Travels,” “Enigmatic Scheme,” and “Battle Theme I.”

He’s just got a really lush chord progression and thoughtful instrumentation. If you want to hear more of his modern day work, check out his pieces “Costiera Amalfitana” and “Giant,” those two are amazing as well.
