I think so too - we and many others won't have an issue getting whatever we need. But the broad masses might not, and this legislation also aims at things like repair instructions and tools to fix your shit thanks to Section 1201 of the DMCA.
Yes, exactly the point: first take access to information from most people. Then slowly close the trap more and more tight
