Manufacturers stole repairability and the headphone jack from us under the guise of waterproofing and now you make fun of people who use the feature?!?

Because said waterproofing was for accidental, rare incidents of exposure, such that you have enough time to yank it somewhere safe before water penetrated.

Waterproofing was never meant for intentional, repeated, or extended exposure to extreme environments. That’s what waterproof cases are for. You know, the kind that allow your phone to go intentionally into water.

Yea that's my whole argument. We lost very important things for some bullshit.

Should be an option, not mandatory.

Offering options costs a lot more.

Yea I don't care.

We make excuses thousands of times a year for every shit ass corporation.

Fuck em. Figure it out and stop delivering FOMO dogshit to people.

Repairability is more important than some adult childs inability to hang on to an item or make the correct decision to buy waterproof said item.
