I mean, today they don’t even recognize Lake Ontario everywhere, so I’m not surprised they don’t offer Canadian English now, but it’s weird they never did. I just checked and my phone maps app offers only German from Germany, which is really weird, because I know Swiss German has at least some very different vocabulary for train based transportation. That could be because my app store and google accounts are originally from the US, though.

Yeah there excuse vacillates between "What do you mean, Canada uses UK English" to "Canada has half the population of the UK so we don't offer it" to "Just use US English, it is the same as Canadian English".
