I have a cheap Mazda 6e with the small battery. It has on a bad day 390 km range if I run heater, in sport. For daily use I can hold over a week with that. But I have a home charger so battery is always full each morning. I only ever need to charge in a station on road trips. At least in Norway which is a mature EV market most have home charger. Only those with street parking (not that common in Norway outside perhaps three large cities) don't have home chargers.

Agree that people want to fuel fast tho'
