A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I've been obsessed with Look Outside, it's a fantastic indie survival horror / JRPG that manages the blend the two into something spectacular.

The basic premise is that a cosmic horror entity is mutating anyone that looks outside, leaving you trapped in your apartment trying to survive along with anyone else left sane. The pixel art is gorgeous, it's a surprisingly funny game, and has a ton of heart. For a cosmic horror story, this game clearly loves humanity and all our weird quirks. I finished the game a couple days ago & am currently working on getting the most difficult ending in the game now that I know how to optimize my routes. It's on sale rn for $6, highly recommend

Also planning on replaying Ghost Master on GoG. My siblings & I had a blast playing it growing up, excited to revisit.
