I was second-hand smoking two packs a day until I was 13 (when my mom got lung cancer). But back then, every kid I knew was doing the same. Now, seeing people smoking is a relatively rare occurrence.
I was a grown ass adult before I knew how awful cigarettes smelled simply because I was always surrounded by smoke I just thought that was how the world smelled.
Yep they smoke with windows rolled up in the cars, and in the house. Hell it was rare to find someone who didn't smoke. Then they got all shocked when we all picked up the habit as well when we got old enough to do so.
Luckily for my kids I quit when they were young and yeah I don't really know anyone who smokes cigarettes anymore.
