SpaceXAI backs Omarchy, the controversial Linux distro, with $1.5 million in compute

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

There's obviously history here that I have missed. Can someone tell me about this distro and what makes it controversial?
Distro that is basically an Arch rice with some AI. The creator (DHH) is the most controversial aspect
Some Nazi nut took arch and made it worse by adding exploits like "any user process can escalate to root" or "web app notifications can execute any binary"
Somehow the other Nazis are loving this mess and he's getting millions in sponsorships from companies that want to be boycotted
In fact it is surprisingly unimpressive on a technical level. An Arch-based Linux distribution with the Hyprland tiling window manager. That's it. The developer has grovelled to Musk and friends leading to rivers of gold flowing in. It's everything that's wrong with the US and tech billionaire oligarch class in general.
Someone took Arch added some packages & configs and is now making $$$$
Actually, it's also the someone that makes the distro controversial. (Spoiler: poorly veiled bigotry in link.)
