Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

I had to scan my face a hundred times already for a hundred different places...
Hell, I live in a closed colony and the only way in is with a face scan. My biometric data is surely for sale in a hundred different places by now, so I guess I don't really care anymore
Its not like I have an option if I still want to get home
Yeah same here. I mean you're getting scanned everywhere now, like the grocery store, but I'm not linking my computer to my face. I will say going through the airport in Japan is a breeze compared to the shit show in US airports.
I get off the plane, get in line to check in and get my sticker, set up luggage delivery, and walk out.
