From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

You could store them in your password safe if it supports them?
Potentially the server can request hardware/software attestation that would limit the choice of password safe to approved ones only. We don't yet know how big/likely this could be, but in theory it's possible.
well, if I've seen a vendor lockin before, and I've seen a couple, they'll push them with open standards until they're accepted and normalized.
Then suddenly the big players like Google and Microsoft will block all the open platforms sighting "security" forcing businesses to adopt closed proprietary versions while touting their free and easy too use platforms.
then the monitize it.
