and they all went back to business as usual. They don't care.
Why should they? From their perspective, listening to someone they already don't respect for a couple minutes is hardly a high cost to pay for the power they'll wield. They don't fear anything she's saying, there's no worry about repercussions. He obviously doesn't believe in the bible in the sense of personal sin and shame. The bible is just a tool for condemning and controlling others. The lessers.
So she shows up, she gets a few minutes of viral fame, they shuffle some papers around, and nothing actually happens.
Still better than typing a cinical comment on a feed.
Good for her. I wish the camera pan to the face of the asshat in question...
Shame only works if followed by appropriate threats of increasing direct acts, until demands are met. Shame only Nazis commit to theirs😢
