LOS ANGELES, June 6 (Reuters) - Helmeted police in riot gear turned out on Friday evening in a tense confrontation with protesters in downtown Los Angeles, after a day of federal immigration raids in which dozens of people across the city were reported to be taken into custody. Live Reuters video showed Los Angeles Police Department officers lined up on a downtown street wielding batons and what appeared to be tear gas rifles, facing off with demonstrators after authorities had ordered crowds of protesters to disperse around nightfall.

Where are the Pro-Hong Kong posters, showing exactly how to prepare for riot police? You used to see them posted all the time, and now - not so much so. Helmets, umbrellas, goggles, gloves, but also water, milk or other anti-pepper spray eyewash, and SHIELDS!

They train using ancient Greek and Roman techniques using shields that can only be countered with shields. Why are people confronting riot police in flip-flops and shorts?

Thats a good question. It doesnt seem like people are able to think anymore. They just go out and try to stop riot gear fascism in their shorts. I can only assume they think that fascism will be stopped if they yell and protest loudly enough?

It doesnt make any sense.
