Speirs was arrested in September after footage of him snorting off a plate was published by News Corp. He initially denied wrongdoing and reportedly told the news outlet it was a "deepfake" and that he had never used cocaine.

Judge Ubaid ul-Haq should be ashamed for even presiding over that farce.

The benefit since 2014, is that Europe has finally woken up to Russia.

“I do say China is going to be a slog in terms of the negotiations,” Bessent said according to a transcript obtained by The Associated Press. “Neither side thinks the status quo is sustainable.”

The price would include the US making concessions to Moscow such as recognising the 2014 annexation of Crimea, though Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyysaid no such proposal had been shared with him by the White House and that his country could not endorse it.

The emerging US-Russia plan would then envisage a ceasefire along roughly the existing front lines once Moscow’s territorial demand has been dropped, leaks suggest – something that Ukraine has indicated it could accept, as long it did not have to recognise Russian occupation as permanent or legal.

Let's do human races, get the jockeys to ride the rich people and the rich people win the money. Cuts costs on hay and stables and shit.

I've been running cardless for years at this point. Haven't seen a wallet in yonks.

Still 100% the news was going for views and harping it up. I liked the byline however, ‘We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience.’ really encaputaled my feelings of annoyance at the time.

Mate I literally posted this because I was locked out of the app for 3 hours meaning I could not withdraw money I needed to. It came back up around 6:15, I know because I was checking it every ~10 minutes.

More than 47,000 flyers were distributed in the Sydney electorate of Wentworth, held by the Teal independent and the former seat of Malcolm Turnbull.

[…]

The ABC reported that the content accused her of being weak on antisemitism.

47,000 pamphlets delivered to 47,000 is a fairly significant investment of resources.

What possible reason could some large group or organisation have to mass produce fake attack ads against someone not pro-Israel enough?

This is hardly anything new or groundbreaking?

Centrists will um and aw over any positive change, but never look at challenging a right wing policy.

Entered the kitchen, took some ketamine, shat his pants, took some LSD, set fire to the trash can, complained about the heat.

The US Federal Trade Commission has filed a lawsuit against Uber, alleging the ride hailing and delivery company engaged in deceptive billing and cancellation practices.

The consumer protection watchdog accused Uber of charging customers for its Uber One subscription service without getting their consent and making it hard for users to cancel.

"The Trump-Vance FTC is fighting back on behalf of the American people," FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson, a Trump appointee, said in a statement.

An Uber spokesperson denied the allegations, and it was "disappointed" that the FTC chose to move forward with the lawsuit.

Police briefly sought to forbid anti-war protesters from displaying “hostages signs” or “pictures of children or babies from Gaza” as a condition for the approval of ש demonstration scheduled for Thursday in Tel Aviv, but then backtracked on their demands.

In a letter sent on Sunday to organizers and first obtained by Haaretz, police also tried to preemptively prohibit demonstrators from waving signs with the words “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” on them.

Germany's push to deport protesters supporting Palestinians has drawn comparisons with the Trump administration's handling of pro-Palestinian student protesters in the U.S. There are concerns that by restricting the freedom of movement of the three EU citizens, these deportation orders may clash with EU law, which enshrines freedom of movement as a founding principle.

(Australian PM) Albanese said: "I stand with the Aussie café owner."

"I can confirm here today that I am pro-Vegemite. I actually put a lot of Vegemite on my toast when I eat bread," he said.

"It's a good thing. I did hear the report. It's rather odd they're allowing Marmite, which frankly, is rubbish. Let's be clear: I'm pro-Vegemite, anti-Marmite. That's my position."

“[Migrants] would be forced to choose between two injurious options: continue following the law and leave the country on their own, or await removal proceedings,” the judge, Indira Talwani, wrote in her ruling.
