Headphones of almost all types hurt my ears or fall off too easily to be comfortable.

And my new phone has better sound than my old phone and TV anyways. Yes, both of them ARE around 10 years old.

I also I'm a fairly recent convert to these kinds of headphones. I also can't wear regular headphones or earplugs without discomfort after awhile. But these I can wear for a lot longer. And also since it doesn't cover your ear you can still hear conversations and stuff around you. .. that last part may be a plus or minus.
