They drained the swamp and replaced it with quick sand

They drained the swamp and now people are starting to realize that the swamp was actually a very complex ecosystem necessary, teeming with diverse life and preventing hurricane storm surge from sploshing all over the eastern seaboard.

They drained the swamp and now they are left with the stench of all the rotting carcasses decaying in briney mud amidst the hottest and driest summer we've ever seen.

I mean, the swamp is a real problem in a sense. The mechanism for draining the swamp is voting reform, campaign finance reform (and overturning citizens united), and tighter lobbying regulations. More succinctly, getting money out of politics.

None of which Trump has ever mentioned of course.

don't forget regulations which prevent gerrymandering and starting a nonpartisan 3rd party to draw district lines!

Ready mix concrete... Which was the Mafia tied quick set concrete that the Mafia had control over the supply of in NYC. Trump became involved because it was the concrete used in Trump towers.

Trump's mentor Roy Cohn also had Mafia ties as he often acted as their lawyer.
