Unfortunately Crown Royal hasn’t been Canadian in a long time.
Happily we have very many great whiskeys and ryes to consume if that’s your jam that are made in Canada, the best country on earth.
Diageo owned, London based multinational run Crown Royal out New York. Fermented and initial distillation in Gimli Man, ~~Blended and bottled in Amherstberg, ON.~~
Edit: they are closing the Amherstberg bottling plant to move to the US. Fuck Crown Royal. Fuck Diageo
Better to support local small producers products. Where everything is Canadian.
I’ve seen some ads, but I don’t know. Do you have any recommendations?
But Crown Royal parent company is English. The whisky is made in Ontario. Wikipedia says its production will go to the US in 2026. There’s still hope.
Only Trump's tariffs can stop that, now. Will the Orange-utan save the Crown?
Are you SURE? I've tried Shelter Point, which was okay, but only years after trying the gasoline/turpentine mix they called Glen Breton and the PTSD that followed. Sure, I'll do a Sortilège easy, but that's like a whistler ice-wine in spirits form.
Yes. I’m sure. Have you tried 40 creek? Fabulous.
