Crown Royal's parent company is closing their Ontario bottling plant and opening it in the US. CR is maintaining its HQ in Canada and its main facility in Quebec.
Their statement was that the Ontario plant was mostly shipping to the US.

Damn and I liked Johnnie Walker too. Oh well time to enjoy Japanese whiskeys more.
Do yourself a favor and drop blended scotches entirely. Single malt all the way.
