Unless someone really needs a GPU in the laptop for video editing or something, I would rather recommend that a Steam Deck and cheap netbook are probably better for most people's needs. 2 devices that do their jobs well and have decent battery, instead of one device that kinda does everything kinda poorly.
Some games are not optimized for steam decks, for example simulations, strategy games, everything that requires a keyboard or tries to display a lot of text on a small screen.
