It is almost like Trump is anti union.
I'd honestly love to see some journalism or polling on the Teamsters members or Sean O'Brien these days. Are they like, "whoops! I thought he was pro-union," or are they still trying to rationalize this.
They will rationalize until they're standing at the edge of a ditch filled with corpses with guns pointed at their backs.
They'll rationalize it right to the grave. See: Herman Cain.
Unfortunately, for a lot of union guys in the US it's not so much a political group as it is a good job club. They don't really care about the labor movement.
Which Union endorsed Trump? As far as I know none did, NAD certainly not the Teamsters. I still remember it was big news when they decided to not endorse either candidate as both were anti union. People in this community seem to have a grasp of facts almost as loose as the MAGA crowd at times
Nah they didn't endorse, but O'Brien was vocally supportive of Trump, and the explanation at the time was that Teamster internal polls showed like 60% of their members did as well.
Basically he defacto endorsed Trump. Anyone arguing otherwise is just naive at this point.
