Every countries armed forces have that one branch of batshit berserkers on a speedtour to Valhalla. In the Red Army it was the Marine, in the US army its the marines, in the french and german armies it's traditionally the grenadiers. The most motivated and devoted soldiers tend to end up in those branches, leading to often death defying and self sacrificial conduct during battle.
