Love how it's always the same line with healthcare. "Oh its soooo complicated but we're working on it we pinky promise!" Repeated ad nauseum for 40 fucking years with absolutely no progress
There has been progress. The ACA has serious issues, but the reason they haven't repealed it is that it would be so materially destructive to the American people the party to do so would be completely out of power for at least a decade. It'd be Hoover-FDR situation all over again.
The reply was also just lame. Usually they at least try to beat you with "superior knowledge", citing some reason or numbers, flimsy as it may be.
Politicians prepare answers for obvious questions or accusations. But I've seen it so often with this administration that they simply do not have any, obviously did not prepare for criticism. It's a form of delusion.
