The clip I saw had insufficient booing IMO.
Apparently they thought the MMA scene is MAGA?
That was my initial thoughts, although after reading, i get the idea that the crowd just found it a bit disrespectful. Its interesting, because i could go either way on this. Does it come down to how wrestlers are defined?
Sports people > Entertainers = Fine and normal in sports for participants to have their anthems played.
Sports people < Entertainers = Disrespectful to the country the performers are touring in.
Sports have anthems played in the US only since WWII because it was supposed to boost patriotism. Nobody else does that.
You think the USA is the only country in the world that plays their national anthem before sporting events? Lol
