Not defending the guy, he’s a moron for falling for Trump’s schtick and not following a simple chain of cause/effect - but I at least can understand the initial sentiment of wanting to support someone who claimed to stand up against “China”?

They just should’ve done a modicum of research to realise just how full of shit Trump actually is.

The longer I'm alive the more I think we need citizenship tests. You should have to earn citizenship, it shouldn't be granted automatically, and at least one of the prerequisites for citizenship should be detectable brain waves. If you fail an EEG you don't get to vote or own property.
