How do these people not understand why having a giant Nazi tattoo and having worked for fucking blackwater make us wary of the guy actually having progressive views?
It seems like it’s just sunk cost fallacy for a lot of his supporters. Which is kind of weird tbh, as you really can’t have sunk that much into him at this point in his political career. That and a mix of dunning-kruger with the whole ‘well i didn’t know that the symbol the nazis used on their uniform was nazi, so why should he?’ Personally, I was already out on the guy before this nazi tattoo bullshit, so it’s pretty easy to look past his words to see his actions.
I have a shitload of tattooes. I’m covered from my neck down. And I’m going to tell you right now, it’s REALLY HARD to ACCIDENTIALLY get a giant Nazi tattoo. The artists know what it means and will absolutely tell you and most artists won’t even do it, and I find it even harder to believe that a MARINE and ALL HIS MARINE BUDDIES wouldn’t know what it means. And then to try and shrug it off like it’s not a big deal after? ITS A GIANT NAZI TATTOO. ONLY HARDCORE RACIST PRISON NEONAZIS GET THOSE MAN.
Agree completely. Apparently he has now gotten it covered up with a new tattoo he is showing off, and get this- it’s appears to be a nordic tattoo of Fenrir. You know, the thing that neo-nazis use to hide their blatant ties to this shit. I just can’t believe how on the nose this guy is being with the dogwhistle and how many people are just going along with it.
