What you’re reading there is a way to inject sentiment into my statement that is not there to generate a win for yourself.

Also, if you want to be real pedantic about it (and you do you little pedant), a secret Gestapo is pedantically better than an “out in the open one” due to secrecy limiting their reach and power. Kind of a “do you want to be shot in the head or be tortured to death” kind of convo where both endings suck, but we both know which you’d choose.
