A former colleague of mine liked to say that "There are two kinds of people - those who do backups and those who now do backups. That was relevant before AI, but with it is even more relevant. If I don't trust myself enough with the production environment I will never trust a glorified CleverBot. But I guess this can fail to, because I'm sure some lazy moron will let the AI do the backups and it will instead nuke the whole machine

Gotta love how an llm will fumble interpreting basic requests or issues but will give you a very detailed minute by minute playback on how it fucked up and how screwed you are.

Every single one of these companies use git and can roll back changes. It's extremely unlikely that this damage is permanent.
