bro (or sis), stop...i ain't even be able to handle more than half an hour of tiktok, 4 hrs straight is basically torture
I straight up cannot comprehend instagram. Friends show me reels they found, watching that shit feels like it is literally melting my brain in real time (I seriously feel very slightly ill while watching). Yet another reason to not use instagram on top of the 500 I already have.
They are all very overstimulating. Everything about them. Videos are edited to cut out any silence so if someone is speaking there is a constant barrage of words. The subtitles are in large prominent font and words appear one at a time. If you aren't conditioned to them they will seem nauseating. I think long term viewing of them definitely does damage to cognition.
not to mention the comments bro... i saw a baby with cleft lip and the comments literally were saying ” it ” needs to be put down... 😔
FR, and you can't even call them out bc that drives up engagement for that comment. I don't even like comments that call them out anymore bc that also drives up their engagement
