I want to believe that the Internet still has a healthy, whimsical, chaotic sense of humor like this, but I have so much doubt now :(
UPDATE the logo at the top of the watermark appears to be from a chinese social media called "Xiaohongshu", and the phone's screen content exactly match this social's interaface.
After reverse-searching some images, I found out this was taken on Jul 16, 2026, by the user 挽歌 (@lun060530) on X, which seems to be the same user that appears on the phone
So I am now pretty sure this was taken on this date!
I believe this picture was taken after 2022, cause we can see Apple's dynamic island on the phone at the bottom, and it was introduced on september 2022.
I'd even say after 2024, I saw someone on reddit ask what model it is 1yr ago, because he saw it on tiktok, and someone managed to find it and provided an aliexpress link. However, it doesn't work anymore and return a 404, and wasn't archived by the wayback machine, so I cannot really find anything really interesting here
