Privacy has become a very important issue in modern society, with companies and governments constantly abusing their power, more and more people are waking up to the importance of digital privacy.
In this community everyone is welcome to post links and discuss topics related to privacy.
Some Rules
- Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
- Don't promote proprietary software
- Try to keep things on topic
- If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
- Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience
- Be nice :)

They've done shit like this for over a decade now.
The whole removing the natural news feed is just so they can fuck with your emotional state and serve ads to you when you're weak.
Throw in the whole Cambridge analyitica nonsense, and you essentially have mind control. I guess most people would compare it to more of a manipulative boyfriend who gas lights you into not seeing your friends. Still not a good look.
The tech already exists, though perhaps not specifically using LLMs, which seems like overkill except maybe to boost LLM sales. And adding an LLM will just make it make wrong guesses when the tone is not enough information to determine a specific mood. They could just be trying to create patents either defensively or to use to troll and tie up smaller competitors with existing tech in court, especially if they add LLMs to their tech to interpret results.
No (from an ml sense only) all machine learning models mispredict when its wrong. Its more the transformer model can tune itself to your specific mood with relatively less feedback.
