I really can't get behind calling things other than noodles, noodles (except pool noodles).
And there are still new ones being created. Cascatelli was made between 2018 and 2021.
But the only one that matters is angel hair.
I want a Spore-like game where I evolve the perfect pasta noodle for my virtual restaurant.
Wow! I am amazed there are that many.
As someone from NJ, I thought this was common knowledge. Each type is often paired with a particular kind of sauce or dish. Legend has it if you pair the wrong pasta with the wrong sauce, or commit the even graver sin of breaking the noodles in half before cooking them, a dark haired man in a wife beater with a fat gold chain will come and beat you with some deli meat. Some say his name is Sal, but he doesn’t speak, he just looks straight into your soul and gestures like this 🤌
