much thanks to @gary_host_laptop for the logo design :)
its an awesome journey :3 for some of these its a real shame they're an "alternative" and not just the primary choice
I much prefer Kagi over DuckDuckGo
An aggregator like SearXNG or degoog is the way to these days imo. Any individual search engine will have its own share of problems, whether that's privacy or AI nonsense or just bad results.
CoMaps is great and all but man. Living in an urban environment without traffic details is brutal.
What is Cash+iDeal? Definitely don't see anything on f droid and words are generic enough to not provide any results on search.
cash is just real money, like coins y'know? and iDeal/Wero is a Dutch (soon european) payment provider
Cash is just the physical cash and iDEAL is a payment system in Netherlands.
I honestly wish I could quit Excel - itβs literally the last vestige of Microsoft in my non- professional life, but I find LibreOffice Calc a bit too needlessly different to be able to fully switch across.
I have an Murena account, this include apart of mail, also e/OS, Nextcloud instance, Oonline Office and a lot more, they even sell Phones (FreePhone). substitute practically all Google apps and services. I also use the Portmaster app (FOSS, Windows and Linux), it includes optional (paid OpenSource) an SPN service, which is an multichannel VPN
So what's that App Lounge all about? I can find the GitLab and it's related projects but nowhere how to install it, the APK file is on the releases (with 9 stars that's not a great sale already) but they all have null pointers to files missing and can't be downloaded
It's part of /e/os. Basically it attempts to roll the functions of FDroid and Aurora store into one. I dont think it's made for distribution outside their OS. For anyone on other platforms, Fdroid and Aurora will fill the same roles just fine.
Thanks for the info
It's part of the /e/os suite. It's tied somehow to the eos version you have running. And if I'm not wrong, your apps from applounge won't update after a certain point in time (or official android patch ?), until you upgrade the /e/os version.
All in all, it's not meant to be a standalone store, from my understanding
Thanks for the information
it's the default on /e/OS. i have no clue if you can download it otherwise. but Aurora Store, F-Droid, Droidify and Obtanium are all good too. (assuming obtanium is good bc ive heard the name alot of times)
