I think I'm an outlier here but I didn't like the first film, and I decided not to watch the other two after that.

It is underappreciated just how much Nolan's shifty lighting and sound design does to ruin an otherwise good enough film. I have a problem with the story too, though. Batman begins is mainly background stuff. Batman does stuff like walk up to Falcone, only to have harsh words and then be forced to back off. I don't remember a lot of action happening full stop. I believe I had a problem with the pacing, and in terms of comic:realistic vibes, the vibes are more realistic - I prefer comic book movies to be more comic-cy. Stylistic, in other words. It just has a generic style. Things i like because of their stylistic cinematography are guardians of the galaxy, netflix daredevil, and James Gunn's Superman

I want to know what voice Hardy gave Bane before the one we heard because I heard he was asked to change it because it sucked. I gotta hear how bad it was before the one they approved because I still wanna know why he gave him that voice.

I don't mind the movies are except the first one because I have very low tolerance for shaky cam fight scenes and that movie is nasty with 'em.

They are all great in my opinion. I get a hankering to rewatch them from time to time, but the second two more than the first one.

I liked the "Batman, nananana nananana" theme song.

If I do as bad a job at dying as Marion Cotillard did in the 3rd movie, I hope I die again. Edit: In minecraft

Saw the first two years ago, but never got round to watching the third one until a few weeks ago.

Batman Begins - I don't really remember it too well. I think I thought it was ok.

Dark Knight - don't remember too well hut I remember really enjoying it.

DKR - I thought it was ok, but some bits were just so dumb, and it was often quite confusing tbh. I had thought that the general view on it was that it was great, but reading the comments here, apparently that's not the case!

I really enjoy Nolan's work on the whole, but I'm not sure the Batman films were a good fit for him.

I don't really like them. To me their biggest flaw is gotham. Gotham is like it's own character and in his trilogy it's just chicago.

Great duology.TDK ishis masterpiece. TDKR is his godfather 3. It is dogshit.

I'm an admitted Nolan fan boy. I loved the first 2 when they first came out but the third was pretty shaky. Given the entire story shift due to Ledger's passing though, I thought it was an ok pivot overall. I would have loved to see the Joker story to its original conclusion though.

On rewatches years later, the first one is still good but I don't feel it's held up nearly as well as Dark Knight. I still absolutely adore that one, but Ledger did do a lot of heavy lifting. I rewatched the third recently and it just struggles to hold up. The tone shift from the first 2 is jarring and I honestly feel like Levitt was wasted as a potential Robin. The third movie could have been used as his introduction with a different villain rather than Bane, possibly Harley Quinn stepping up to fill Joker's shoes.

Deeply flawed but fun to watch.

Lots of funny lines to meme about and great character actors.

I thought they were good, but Heath Ledger's Joker was overrated. I mean, he's fine but I didn't think he was amazing which seems to be the general consensus. I don't think he would have won the Oscar if he hadn't died.

I like Nolan for sci-fi/fantasy, but I didn't care for his Batman movies. Watched every one, they bored me. I liked the first two with Michael Keaton and the one with Val Kilmer, though I was pretty young when they came out and they left an impression. Rose coloured glasses and all that. I don't really watch them now but I remember them being good.

DC stuff in general just bores me, though I did like last year's Superman. My problem with Superman is that only a fake green rock from a planet that does not exist (so far as we know) is his one weakness, and the film opens with him having gotten his ass kicked. Didn't love it but thought it was decent. I thought I liked Batman more, but those are boring to me, too.

Some of the better superhero movies, most of which are mid at best.

I never saw the first one, the second one was great, and the third one didn't really make any sense. I mean, I understood what was happening, but it felt ridiculous even for a superhero movie.

My primary motivation to watch the trilogy was to see how Christian Bale would play a regular non psychopathic role across three complete movies, even though I haven't actually seen American Psycho. I don't know why this was my main motivation, just that it was.
