Collect the valve stems like they were chanterelles.

Parking enforcement.

And maybe check if the hitch is locked in.

use the tyre as a step to step up onto the bed cover, step across it, and jump down the other side.

If there are no cameras or witnesses, there will be a flat if I got something sharp enough on me.

[–] AnarchistArtificer@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago (3 children)

A nail when positioned correctly will cause a flat tire to slowly deflate once it's driven over. Makes it less likely to get caught because the damage won't be discovered at the scene

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 day ago

What a much better plan.

[–] BeardededSquidward@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 day ago (2 children)

The problem is the tire is still repairable. A small hole in the side wall cannot be repaired.

I'd key the shit out of that truck.

[–] video@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Remove the trailer hitch and throw it through the back window... I mean... Ninja rocks.

A bit too much in the street. It was also okay to be too much on the walkway.

"Uh oh, is there a baby in the back seat? That's super dangerous! We better get the baby some air!"

"...oh, there wasn't? Oops. Well, my heart was in the right place."

I get my jacket because that cloud looks rainy

[–] rmuk@feddit.uk 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Sometimes I have to wear a duty belt. That duty belt has some heavy-duty pointy metal things stored on it. I'd just make sure my duty belt is nice and secure before I squeeeeeeze past.

Coin it as I squeeze past.

[–] sem@piefed.blahaj.zone 8 points 1 day ago

Probably ignore it, and hope they got a ticket of some kind. I don't think my area has any parking narc program.

I see this every day. There's nothing to be done. I bow my head, and move.

[–] Duamerthrax@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

At the very least, key the tailgate as I squeeze past it. Maybe clip my big keyring to one of my belt loops, so I have an excuse if someone sees it.

Get a grinder and remove the part that is on the sidewalk

Would be very funny

More realistically take a pic WITH license plate and post online anonymously with GPS location

And inform the cops of course

I am not sure if you are allowed to call a towing company on your own, may depend on country laws

[–] thesohoriots@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago

3 tires. For insurance purposes.

[–] speckofrust@lemmy.dbzer0.com -1 points 1 day ago

Of fucking course it’s a pickup truck. Who keeps buying these goddamn things?

I keep saying I’m going to design and print out exceptionally sticky stickers that simply say “Big Truck. Small Dick.”

[–] zaphod@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 day ago

Climb over it.
