So I floated this video between LICSW and LPCC friends independently. All said she looked like she was in complete dissociation. The give away is apparently her voice?
The smile looks fake, but thats a "passive distant smile." As in she's completely withdrawn into a protective state. Her eyes only focus on the DIRECTION of Nathan, not Nathan himself.
Whatever happened prior to that clip caused her to severely dissociate.
Nah, those are just the eyes of a true narcissist. I know one and can clock that look a mile away.
Two things can be true. And if this is dissociation, a challenge to her self-image could have easily done it.
I found myself isolated to a relationship for 18ish years with one. I could write a book on narcissistic personality disorder. That's why I sent it to my friends who are professionals in this. I thought I recognized it.
That makes sense I've learned the "BPD stare" by having experiences that make it terrifying for me.

I sort of understand malignant narcissism and its early victims. I'll never understand the suckers who fall for it again after it's been clearly and publicly exposed. Idiots are going to give this POS more money for a new project, if they haven't already.
