Feels like the sort of thing that should put you out of the ID scanning business for life, seeing as you've failed at one of your primary responsibilities

Its probably the most important one, immediately before "accurate validation".

Id prefer being falsely denied access than my data being leaked

this already happened 5 minutes after going into effect in the uk. no biological waste of a politician changed their mind.
